This past week, Dua Lipa had plenty of reasons to be elated. It’s been 12 months since the pop star released Future Nostalgia, which received a Grammy Award for Best Pop Album. To celebrate, her team surprised her with a cake of the album cover, while Lipa wore a barely-buttoned “sexy cardi” and a chunky cardigan. The accessory here? Balloons, of course.
Another musician basking in her glow was Lizzo. She wore a casual look seemingly around a home—sports bra and swishy pants—and added a Balenciaga stamped windbreaker jacket for that designer finish. Tracee Ellis Ross has been catching some sun, too. The actress posed outside before her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, wearing a red suit by Sterling Ruby with her own Northface x Gucci boots and “Old Céline” earrings. Due to the pandemic, Ross’s stylist Karla Welch “threw” the look over her gate. Anything for the look.
All the way in London was the rapper Slowthai. He posed on a dirtbike in a ready-to-ride tracksuit with a bucket hat. His icy blue sneakers were by fellow rapper Skepta, specifically the Nike Air Max Tailwind V Skepta.
Finally, Bella Hadid and fellow model Alton Mason attended a Hugo Boss virtual fashion show, which marked the label’s collaboration with Russell Athletic. Their looks were delightful: Mason opted for a killer piece of outerwear that was both leather and furry, while Hadid went full Y2K with an off-the-shoulder crop top and low-slung pants. Hadid captioned the image with: “We really do this 24/7 365 @altonmason.” Talk about the life of models!
