A lack of sleep causes dark under-eye circles.

Though lack of sleep darkens your under eyes a bit, it is not the main cause and will not last permanently. The real reason why you have dark under-eye circles is because of hormones. Cortisol deficiency can result in this because cortisol plays a big role in your body responding to stress.

Cortisol regulates blood pressure, releases insulin and glucose, and has an inflammatory response. Other factors like stress, genetics, alcohol, aging, iron deficiency, and anemia are some of the causes of dark under-eye circles.

Exercising will completely get rid of cellulite.

The main cause of cellulite is genetics and hormones. Exercising will not get rid of cellulite, but it can help. Cellulite is the fats that push against the tissues under your skin, so for you to make it appear less noticeable, you have to change what’s inside you. Thus, having a proper diet and regulated exercise can help lessen the visibility of cellulite.

Running will result in saggy skin.

Unless you do intense running every day for months without eating enough protein, your skin won’t sag. Cardio is fast at burning calories and fat; too fast that if you are not careful, your muscles will also be burned. If you do high-intensity running every day, you will lose your muscles.

Protein is the nutrient that builds muscle, so your muscles will be lost faster if you do not take enough protein. So if you burn too much of your muscles, you will lose structure, causing your skin to sag.

Shaving will cause your hair to grow thicker and faster.

Your hair will not grow faster and become thicker if you shave. It may give an illusion that it is darker or thicker because of how you shave them. Shaving only cuts the top layer, and the roots are not affected, so it has nothing to do with the pace of hair growth.

You can shrink your pores permanently.

You cannot permanently shrink your pores. The situation of your pores depends on your genetics and hormonal state. However, there are ways you can make them look smaller, like removing impurities and keeping them free from debris. You can also use cold water to shrink them, which is only temporary. They shrink as a response to stimuli, but once your skin does not feel cold, it will return to normal.

Dyeing your hair will make them turn gray faster.

Hair starts to turn grey once the melanin slows down. So your hair is turning gray all because of your hormones and genetics and has nothing to do with coloring.
